Taekwondo Charity Day with Alfie’s Wish

50 people turned up to take part in our Taekwondo charity day, with many more donating towards our chosen charity. We thank you for your support in raising money for Alfie’s Wish. A.O. Taekwondo has raised over £795.00 this year!

It was a fun-filled afternoon with back-to-back lessons run by Mr Alex Overy, 4th Dan. Everyone had a chance to learn some basic self-defence skills from getting out of choke holds and grabs. They also got a chance to kick and punch pads using different foot and hand techniques.

Every year Mr Overy, A.O. Taekwondo chooses a charity to support. This year we will be making donations to Youth in Romsey from a percentage of all new students’ fees.
